We Need Your Help To Improve Our Database!

Since you can't search for items on Petpet Park, or see what other users have, our Park item database is one of the most used and valuable parts of our Park guide! However, we don't know to add items unless we have them ourselves, or someone reports them.

So, we need your help to make sure we have a complete database! Below we've posted some images of possible capsule LEs, wish coin prizes, and NC card prizes. If you recognise and own any of these items, please contact us with the item name and description so that we can add it to our guide!

The Park Crew has been working hard behind the scenes on a few projects to make the Guide a little cleaner and easier to navigate!

That being said, I give you our THIRD latest update: The brand new Badges page!!

Along with this makeover, we also updated how we display active and retired badges. As shown below, retired badges will now appear faded, like the badge on your left; whereas active badges will remain their normal color, like the badge on your right. This is also displayed as a note on each badge page, to remind you. :)

Again, hoping for easier navigation, as well as a quicker page load time! :)

Winsela made Kora the Head Party Planner for Petpet Park's 3rd Birthday celebration! Visit her in Petpet Plaza and she will send you on a couple quests for her, to help her get ready for the festivities! She will also send you to a few Park Locals, who have special birthday surprises for you!

Head Party Planner: Talk to Kora in Petpet Plaza. She needs you to harvest 10 Luminoushrooms for her, so that she can make her famous mushroom appetizer skewers!

This limited edition Petpet Park Mall item is only available until June 7, 2012, so get it while you can!

Trick Zone

A new Special Access Area has landed in Park Pointe Square, in the corner where the Vault used to be. You can access this area by either buying the Trick Zone Access Key from the NC Mall for 300 NC, or access for free if you have a paid Membership. For those of you unable to get access to the Trick Zone, here is a little peak as to what it looks like inside:

Another new Special Access Area has also landed in Petpet Plaza, behind the Pet Shop. You can access this area by buying the Petpetpet Playground T-shirt from the NC Mall for 200 NC. In order to enter the Playground, you need to be wearing the T-shirt.

Around The Park

Cluckens!: Talk to Winsela in Park Pointe Square.

A Blimp Surprise: Talk to Winsela again. After you're done talking, click on the giant orange blimp next to her. Item reward: Slime Hat.

Clucken Feeding Time: Talk to Mellee on Grenn's Farm. She will ask you to buy some Clucken Feed from The Munchery. Item reward: Clucken Felt Plushie.

Forest Shadows: Talk to Innogen inside Innogen's Treehouse. Bring her three Lanternberries from the Cyodrake Temple Garden. Item reward: Lightmite Lantern.

The School Enrollment jobs have finally been reactivated for those who have reached the title of "Expert". This means you can start studying in another school!

A change has also been made with Garden levels. They will now be added to your Petpet's level!

Area Redesigns

Mellee's Clucken Barn has received a bit of a makeover. There is now a baby Clucken, which you can feed once-a-day with the help of your friends. Also, if you are wearing the Clucken Feather Wings from the NC Mall, you will find a new harvesting spot in the loft. The items you receive from both of these activities will count towards the new Rubber Cluckies Collection!

P.S. If you haven't completed your Egg-cellent Collection yet, the harvestable haystacks are back! You can find them in different areas throughout the park.

Innogen's Treehouse has also received a significant update. Bonbon appears to have abandoned his nest, allowing everyone to harvest items from his nest once per day, regardless of what time you visit. This will help with the new crafting area called the Crafting Pot, which will have new recipes available each week.

Update: Apparently Bonbon's disappearance was a fluke, and he is now back to his regularly scheduled times.

Marble Crafting: Harvest a Forest Green Marble and a Magical Forest Straw from the nest inside Innogen's Treehouse. Mix them together in the brand new Crafting Pot. Item reward: Lit Marble Fence.

Membership News

Green Fashion: Wear a Green Swirls Party Dress (purchasable at Fins Feather & Fashion, but you have to be subscribed to Petpet Park Membership), go to the magazine stand, and receive a Green Swirls Tiara.

The Wish Coin Chest: Open the chest in Park Pointe Square to receive a Member Wish Coin.

Lastly, this month's March Member Bag will be giving out the Birribee Garden Sculpture.

Valentine Deliveries, Expert Baking, and Marcel's Weekend Giveaway

The last of the weekly Park Expert pastry crafts was released today. This will count toward your Patisserie collection.

- February 24th through February 26th -
Baking with Malrone: Have a Lanternberry, Pumpkin Goop, and Starberry in your backpack, then go to the Harvest Oven (it is inside Mr. Grimsby's house in Shadow Grove). Item reward: Malrone Pastry.

On Friday and Saturday, visit Marcel anytime from 2pm to 8pm NST (same as Pacific Standard Time) to receive a lightweight gift! If you have collected every week's giveaway item, you will be eligible for the Up and Away! badge!

Balloon Bunches - Friday/Balloon Bunches - Saturday: Talk to Marcel in Enchantville. Item reward: Bunch of Balloons.

The last three delivery jobs will be assigned this weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They do not have to be completed on the day of their release, but you should finish them before the end of the month.

An Icy Valentine: Talk to Dodger in Park Station. He would like you to deliver a card to Petrissa on Blizzard Mountain. Item reward: Ice Skating Heart.

Heart Parkles Galore: Talk to Dodger in Park Station. He needs you to collect twenty-five more Heart Parkles (found all over the Park this month; they are pink sparkly floating paw prints) in order to finish organising his mail. Item reward: Aku Heart.

A Cyodrake Valentine: Talk to Dodger in Park Station He has one last card for you to deliver. Take it to Kai in the Cyodrake Temple Garden. Item reward: Cyodrake Temple Heart and Heart Box Key.

Remember to use any keys you might have before March 1st or you will no longer be able to use them! If you're not sure which box you should open, you might want to check out our news posts from February 2nd, February 3rd, February 9th, and February 16th.

Update from the Petpet Park Support Staff: This quest is being worked on and will be re-released in a few weeks. For the moment, it will be impossible to enroll in another school; however any Honour Student Quests can still be completed if you have not already done them.

A Food Voyage: Talk to Eldridge in Autropolis. Swirlberry Soda and Fireplacenut Butter Sandwich can be purchased from inside the Park Station train. Item reward: Vintage Autropolis Suitcase.

Mailman Mysteries: Have Mailman Mysteries in your backpack (note that there are two different versions of this item; you want the one where the description specifically mentions a library desk), then go to the Reading Desk inside the University Library. Item reward: Mailman Mysteries Bookmark.

Enchantville

To enter this special access zone through Park Station, you must either be subscribed to Petpet Park Membership or purchase an access key from the Park Mall for 300 NC.

A Fashionable Request: Talk to Jolette. The magazine stand (New Park Fashions) is in Fashion Field. Item reward: Sleek Winter Coat.

Fashion Check: Talk to Jolette again. Go back to Fashion Field to talk to Flerilda. Item reward: Sleek Winter Boots.

Exploring around, there is a stage for Nova Catcher, which is probably a game that is coming soon.

The trees nearby allow you to harvest Novarines.

The fountain statue is harvestable once per day. It is a good way to obtain Fashion Wish Coins.

The dessert cart grants you tasty snacks, and you can harvest from it as many times as you want.

And finally, there's the Fashion Lane Shop.

Heart-Shaped Boxes

If you were here during December, these heart boxes should seem familiar to you, as they operate in a similar way to music boxes.

Certain types of heart boxes can be harvested from the trees in Petpet Plaza (look for the paper signs). Other types will be awarded to you through the jobs for Dodger this month.

A box can be unlocked with a Heart Box Key. Keys can be purchased in the Petpet Park Mall, or they can be awarded (we will announce opportunities through jobs later; there is also the Park Station boat mentioned further below). Once you have a key in your backpack, click on a box to unlock it.

You will end up with... a lot... of heart boxes. Let us take a look at the possible prizes for the ones that were released today. You will need to use multiple keys if you want to obtain all the prizes.

The rest of the boxes will be released slowly through jobs, starting Friday.

Magic Expert: Talk to Professor Ellemora inside the School of Magic at The University.

Shimmer Potion: Have 5 Lanternberries, 5 Fashion Fruits, and 5 Lyfinberries in your backpack, then head inside the School of Magic at The University to craft them. Item reward: Shimmer Potion. Do this daily job ten times.

Nature Expert: Talk to Professor Gelbe inside the School of Nature in Wallington Courtyard. Continue growing and harvesting Sunny Morning Glories, Snow Lettuces, Cloud Radishes, Plain Pumpkins, and Simple Daisies for him (the seed bags are still available next to him). He will reward you with Fresh Leaf, Dried Petal, or Mossy Twig. Keep going until you have two of each.

Darkness in the Skies: Talk to Kelzara in Celestial City. She would like you to look through the telescopes on Lunaria and Blizzard Mountain. Item reward: Grand Celestial City Telescope.

Flying with Lavinia: Talk to Lavinia (follow the stairs on the left side of the map!) in Celestial City. Special reward: Flying Trick.

If you buy and wear a Fashion Necklace (200 NC, use the Park Mall's search for the item name, because it currently does not show up properly), then you will be able to go up on the little sewing stages and harvest from the piles of fabric once per day per pile (there are three piles). Since 2004, Jellyneo has run completely ad-free and has not made any money whatsoever. Our staff, currently comprised of 36 dedicated workers, bring you all of the great Neopets and Petpet Park coverage you've come to know and love on a purely volunteer basis. We're very lucky to have such a great team, and we always love hearing from you guys when you appreciate something we've worked on.

Unfortunately, our server does not like to volunteer. :( Thus, we must open up the vault to make sure that Jellyneo is up and online. Luckily, as you guys have all demonstrated in the past, we have some very generous visitors who help us out by chipping in to cover the cost of our server.

This year, we've again estimated that our server costs will be approximately $2,000. If you would like to help out and donate, please visit our donation page. For those who have given in the past, please note that there is now a minimum $10 donation. This is a new rule from Dreamhost, our server provider, so we apologize about any inconveniences.

In the bottom toolbar, Pals have been temporarily disabled; the Park map is very... busy, your petpet's profile now includes his or her school status, level titles have been removed, that annoying "New Quests!" pop-up is gone, and membership status is shown next to your petpet as they walk around.

Music Boxes

Apart from jobs, music boxes can also be obtained by participating in activities on Blizzard Mountain. These include harvesting the trees and going ice fishing.

In order to open a box, you must first have a Music Box Key. These can be purchased in singles or in packs from the Park Mall. Or, you can try harvesting Sunniberries from Puka Beach Club (near the shipwreck; the chances of finding a key in the process is very small). There will also be an opportunity to craft keys later on, but you will need access to Snowflake Summit and Candy Chateau first. A third way to obtain keys is to utilise the Winsela Halo (more on that further down).

But if you prefer to avoid Neocash altogether, there may still be a chance... well, we will cross that bridge when we get to it. ;)

Once you have a key and a music box in your backpack, simply click on the box and agree to open it.

There are three types of music boxes (Candy, Snowflake, and Tree). Each type has five different prizes, so you will have to open multiples of each box if you want the whole set.

Candy Chateau

To enter this special access zone on Blizzard Mountain, you must either be subscribed to Petpet Park Membership or purchase an access key from the Park Mall for 300 NC.

Certain spots in the Chateau are harvestable! The swirly trees can be harvested from many times per day, but the cotton candy tree can only be harvested from once per day.

From there, it is just a few steps to the Sweet Treats Shop, which sells cute looking wearables and furniture.

In order to complete his jobs this month, you will need to buy and wear the Ice Princess Wand from Mr. Filliby's Fantastic Fun Shop on Snowflake Summit.

The Harvest Oven is in Squippit Hollow, on the stage behind Isibel.

Since November is ending, the Oven is casting off its invisibility cloak, becoming available this weekend (November 24th through the 27th).

Here are all five recipes:

Every week, the Park experts (Corrihan, Malrone, Miriki, and Tassyana) will reveal recipes that you can use to make items for your Expert Cooking collection.

All you have to do is gather the right ingredients and go to the Harvest Oven.

The Harvest Oven is in Squippit Hollow, on the stage behind Isibel, but it can only be seen on Fridays, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. This time is based on your computer's clock, so if your computer says it's 3:01pm (no matter where you are in the world), the oven will be available.

Tassyana Harvest Dish: Have 1 Anchorberry, 1 Crystal Snowflake, 1 Fashion Fruit, 1 Fireplacenut, and 1 Peppermelon in your backpack, then go to the oven. Item reward: Tassyana Turnover.

Everyone Loves Pie: Talk to Isibel again. Remember, Starberries can be found at the Pool of Illusion and Sour Appleberries can be found on Grenn's Farm.

Reminder!
Some school jobs will require enrollment. At this point, you can only enroll in one of the five schools.
The Search for Adventure: Talk to Professor Kaylin inside her school in Wallington Courtyard. In order to recover seven artefacts, you will have to dig through special piles you find in Founder's Cemetery, Laughing Springs, the Pumpkin Patch, Shadow Grove, and the Wailing Tunnels (Chamber 1). Item reward: Adventure School Crackers. Special reward: Adventure School Apprentice badge.

Here's a handy guide for artefact locations. Keep digging until you receive the items. You will also most likely receive dirt piles and candies from last year. Note that anyone can dig these up (no special enrollment required):

Still Life Painting (once per day): Have 3 Fashion Fruits, 3 Peppermelons, and 3 Island Paradise Petals in your backpack, then head inside the School of Art at The University. Go to the topmost crafting station. Item reward: Still Life Painting.

Still Life Paper Mache (do this job at least two times once it becomes available): Have 3 Wraithberries and 5 Still Life Paintings in your backpack, then head inside the School of Art at The University. Go to the bottommost crafting station. Item reward: Paper Mache Flower. Special reward (after second time): Art School Apprentice badge.

Basic Building (once per day): Have 1 Red Blockberry, 1 Yellow Blockberry, 1 Anchorberry, 1 Lanternberry, and 1 Lady Blurg Flower in your backpack, then head inside the School of Gadgetry in Wallington Courtyard. Go to the crafting station. Item reward: Basic Lantern.

Lantern Creation (do this job at least two times once it becomes available): Have 3 Rubies and 5 Basic Lanterns in your backpack, then head inside the School of Gadgetry in Wallington Courtyard. Parkle Potion (do this job at least two times once it becomes available): Have 3 Azure Mushrooms and 5 Basic Magic Potions in your backpack, then head inside the School of Magic at The University. Plant Gathering: Harvest a Sunny Morning Glory, Snow Lettuce, Cloud Radish, Plain Pumpkin, and Simple Daisy from your garden and have them in your backpack. (Read more about free seed bags at the School of Nature below.) Talk to Professor Gelbe inside his school in Wallington Courtyard. Item reward: Dried Petal, Fresh Leaf, or Mossy Twig. Special reward: Nature School Apprentice badge.

Pink Glitter Peppermelons (repeatable daily!): Have twenty Pink Glitter Peppermelons in your backpack. Talk to Professor Gelbe inside his school in Wallington Courtyard.

Golden Appleberries (repeatable daily!): Have twenty Golden Appleberries in your backpack. Talk to Professor Gelbe inside his school in Wallington Courtyard.

Council Assistance: Talk to Zarsis in Ancient Lunaria. His daughter, Gwenivere, is a little ways east of him. Remember, Energy Orbs can be harvested outside at the Gates of Lunaria (although you should have plenty left over from obtaining those harvesting badges). Item reward: Energy Orb Wings.

A Bright Day: Talk to Innogen inside Innogen's Tree House. Remember, Luminoushrooms can be found in Cyodrake Temple Garden and Glowshrooms can be found in the Wailing Tunnels (Chamber 4). Item reward: Treehouse Lanterns Garland.

Super Special Awesome Wish Coin Job

Free Seed Bags

Head inside the School of Nature in Wallington Courtyard. There is a seed bag display that you can harvest from once per day. Everyone can harvest from this--you do not need school enrollment. Many different seed bags are available from this display.

Important Note: In order to sell the produce from these seeds to Eliza or Yorgo, you must be enrolled in the School of Nature.

Tucked away in the far right corner of Mystimar Glen is the new shop, Mystic Merchandise. It contains existing or re-released items relating to Cardcasters or magic in general. The items require membership or NC to purchase.

Not far away, the Wish Coin Shop at The University has received a complete makeover (look for the wagon on the far right side of the map). The shop simply gathers together all the wish coins available for sale right now. Coins currently require membership or NC to purchase.

And because we just can't get enough of updates, the Grooming Shop has also been changed. There are a ton of haircuts and beards to choose from (a lot of them are new), but again, they will require membership or NC to purchase.

You will only be able to do this if you have earned the Honour Student badge for the appropriate school. Don't worry, you will eventually be allowed to join other schools if you're a dedicated student, but for now, you can only pick one. So, choose a school and head inside to see the professor. You will be presented with one of the following five jobs.

Adventure School Enrollment: Talk to Professor Kaylin inside her school in Wallington Courtyard.

Art School Enrollment: Talk to Professor Jules inside his school at The University.

Gadgetry School Enrollment: Talk to Professor Quinby inside his school in Wallington Courtyard.

Magic School Enrollment: Talk to Professor Ellemora inside her school at The University.

Nature School Enrollment: Talk to Professor Gelbe inside his school in Wallington Courtyard.

More school updates are coming up in the future.
Kripske's Treat: Talk to Kripske in the Pumpkin Patch.

There are two types of trick or treat cauldrons. The first type can only be harvested once a day. These cauldrons can be found in Founder's Cemetery, Knight's Keep, Petpet Plaza, Pirate Alley, and Snowflake Summit.

The second type of cauldron requires an extra user or two to join you, but you can harvest as many times as you like from them. These cauldrons can be found in the Pumpkin Patch, Wallington Courtyard, and Mt. Puka.

If you can, go with the multiplayer cauldrons, as those have a better chance of awarding the two rare candies: Caramel Wing and Chocolate Zombie Candies.

Heart Gummies: This job is only available once you have harvested four Heart Gummies from cauldrons. Talk to Kripske in the Pumpkin Patch. Item reward: (see below).

Chocolate Cherry Eyes: This job is only available once you have harvested four Chocolate Cherry Eyes from cauldrons. Talk to Kripske in the Pumpkin Patch. Item reward: (see below).

Levels 26 through 30 have been released, meaning there are new items to unlock in the Good Citizen Shop. The multiplayer cauldrons are an excellent way to earn experience points!

The Lucky Dragon has opened up in Cyodrake Temple Garden. Inside are various re-released items from past years. Almost all of the items require NC or Membership to purchase, though.

New Game & Game News

Ha, see what I did there? *cricket chirp*

The new game, University Exam, can be accessed through Wallington Courtyard or the Secret Scrolls Club. If you go through the Club, you will receive triple Park Points from it. Currently, there seems to be a glitch where the game becomes stuck while loading.

Elsewhere, spooky games such as Potion Panic and Banks' Runemaster are giving out double Park Points! Cake Calamity, Carnival Calamity (when accessed through the Fantastic Fair), and Sling and Splash (when accessed through Swirling Seas) also have Point boosts.

New Tricks

Swim Trick - Simply visit Swirling Seas (a special access zone that requires either a Park Mall Special Access Key or Petpet Park Membership) to unlock this!
Ghost Trick - Buyable from the Petpet Park Mall (200 NC). For the rest of today (October 6), you can preview it for free by typing "ghost" into the Park's in-game chat.
Pumpkin Patch Trick - Able to be unlocked later this month.

All unlocked tricks can be used in any area, at any time, by clicking on the Tricks icon (to the left of the chat bar).

Mall News

Different candy bags will be released this month. To start, we have the Chocolate Candy Bag. Take it to the oh-so-lovable Cochon in Market Lane. Remember, Fireplacenuts can be found on Blizzard Mountain; Fireplacenut Butter Sandwich can be bought inside the train in Park Station. Item rewards: Devil Horns Headband and Devil Costume Shoes.

Both Professor Wallington and Sophie reveal something new: the top three scorers in Puka Time Smoothie (Pukapooka Beach) and Bonbon Pickup (Innogen's Tree House) will receive tons of points for their respective schools! The deadline for this is the end of the school event, so you have around two weeks remaining. A user can only pick one school for this; you will have to wear a school badge in order for the Petpet Park staff members to know which school you support. Here are what the wearable badges look like:

First place winners are each awarded 5,000 school points; second place winners are each awarded 3,000 points; third place winners are each awarded 2,000 points.

Around The Park

September: chilly weather, leaves changing colour, back to school! It will be a busy month in the Park as well; luckily, a certain Oukin will be helping me get through today's updates.

The University Opens!: Talk to Winsela in Park Pointe Square--she will briefly mention the new campus.

Find Your School!: Talk to Professor Wallington in Wallington Courtyard (the new area that is directly above The University on the big map). He will give you a quiz to help you determine which school to join. Taking the quiz will not automatically enroll you in a particular school, it is only there as a suggestion. Item reward: University Flyer.

Arts and Adventure: I had to log in again in order to see this job. Talk to Professor Wallington. The adventure professor is located above and slightly to the left of him; the art professor is in The University.

Magic, Nature, and Gadgetry: Talk to Professor Wallington. The nature professor is standing to the right; the magic professor is in The University; the gadgetry professor is back in Wallington Courtyard.

Each professor is also the head of their respective school: Professor Kaylin (School of Adventure), Professor Jules (School of Art), Professor Quinby (School of Gadgetry), Professor Ellemora (School of Magic), Professor Gelbe (School of Nature)

Energy Needed: Talk to Trilluna, who is back in place on Lunaria. She will remind you that her spaceship could still use more power.

Energy Orbs for Trilluna & Energy Flowers for Trilluna (repeatable daily!): Talk to Trilluna on Lunaria. You will see the yellow "!" bubble if you bring her ten Energy Orbs and/or ten Energy Flowers.

Now, let us explore some of the new buildings. To the right of the Wishing Well at The University is a library.

Inside, there are rows upon rows of books. Do not talk too loud or you might upset the librarian, Miss Belbithia!

On the opposite side is a campus shop. A couple of items cost NC, but everything else requires Park membership to purchase/use.

In order to ascend the stairs to the second floor, you will need to wear the Hall Pass, which can be bought in the Park Mall for 150 NC. There is not much to do up there, only a harvestable chest that can give you about a hundred or more Park Points once per day. The crystal ball has a cool animation if you hover over it.

Wallington Courtyard has the Secret Scrolls Club, a special access area that requires either Park membership or the Secret Scrolls Club Access Key (300 NC) from the Petpet Park Mall.

The Secret Scrolls Club: Talk to Denny. Vince, the adventure student, is a bit tricky to find. You have to go to Wallington Courtyard and go to the far left of the adventure school. The art student, Sophie, is at The University. Item reward: Secret Scrolls Hat.

There are two harvestable objects inside the Club: a chest (which gives out 50 experience points) and a pinball machine. Both of these are once a day activities.

The pinball machine gives a Wish Pinball, which can be tossed into the Wishing Well for a wearable item. Partial list of prize items:

School Logo Signs

Some games now have school logo signs in front of them. This is related to an event beginning next week involving all five schools! Take this weekend to mull over which school you would like to join. ;)

Nature Fashion: Wear a Nature Student Hat and Nature Student Flower Handheld (buyable from the Campus Shop inside the University Library, but you would have to be a Park member) and receive Nature Student Glasses.

New Levels

The maximum level your petpet can achieve is now 25. Increasing your level means you gain a new title (displayed underneath your petpet) and new items are unlocked in the Good Citizen Shop. Five quick ways to gain experience:

Complete jobs (you get Park Point/item rewards in addition to the experience; win-win situation!)
Sell fruits/vegetables that you harvested from your garden to Yorgo or Eliza at Pawvillion (the Park Point payout has been increased, so there is a lot of profit potential!). Gems and fish can also be sold and have decent PP payouts
Collect parkles. These sparkling, floating green paw prints can be found scattered around the Park (very easy to spot!)
Participate in Wishing Well gatherings (either by throwing in a coin or standing on the grey paw print tiles)
Feed your petpet. Do this by dragging a food item from your backpack onto your petpet

Adventure/Art/Gadgetry/Magic/Nature Honour Student - Keep up with the school jobs; there will be more to do in the coming weeks!
Feather Mastery - Complete all feather crafts. Feathers can be harvested from inside the Counting Cluckens Room, which is a special access area

The Famed Finder - Most likely reach level 25 and complete the job
An Apple for Teacher collection - Complete all five NC apple jobs (see note about glitch below). The other apples will be released in the coming weeks
Back to School collection - Keep up with the school jobs (see note about glitch below)
Lost and Found collection - Obtain the specified items when you have leveled up enough to unlock them. NC and Park membership are required to finish this collection

Around The Park

More Energy Orbs: Talk to the hologram of Trilluna on Lunaria. Energy Orbs can be found at the Gates of Lunaria. You can get there by stepping on the giant glowing paw print to the right of her.

Gemology: Go inside Trilluna's Spaceship and talk to Moonrover-2871. Both Asteroid Fragments and Comet Shards can be mined on Lunaria when wearing the Mining Pick that can be bought at Petpet Emporium. Item reward: Ancient Lunaria Bubble Pond.

Wormhole Energy: Talk to the real Trilluna in Ancient Lunaria. Again, using the Mining Pick, Lava Rocks can be mined from inside the volcano on Mt. Puka; Star Particles can be mined on Lunaria. You must give the required items to ZHB-2 in Shadow Grove before returning to Trilluna. Item reward: Ancient Lunarian Council Robe.

Cosmic Flowers: Talk to Innogen at her Treehouse. Glimmerlily Flowerlings can be found up on the rocks in the Cyodrake Temple Garden (no special wearable required). Item reward: Carved Star Staff.

Own the Mountain Climber Pack from the Park Mall? Wear it and step onto the peppermint paw prints outside Cocoa Cafe to be teleported up to the chimney. You can harvest UFO Cookies from there. The Pack allows you to receive items from other places, too.

Around The Park

There is a lot to cover this week in terms of jobs and harvesting, so let us get this interstellar field trip going!

Space Food: Go inside Trilluna's Spaceship and talk to Moonrover-2871. Fashion Fruit can be found in Fashion Field; Anchorberry can be found in Tugg Harbour. Item reward: Ancient Lunarian Cloak.

Manipulator Crafting: Talk to the hologram of Trilluna on Lunaria. Remember, Agent Drixton can be found on Grenn's Farm. Also bring your Timey Wimey Ball and Plain Pocket Watch from previous jobs so he can make you a Wormhole Manipulator.

Energy Harvesting: Talk to the hologram of Trilluna on Lunaria. Energy Orbs can be found at the Gates of Lunaria. To transport there, follow the trail of rocks and stand on the giant glowing paw print.

After harvesting, go to the far left side of the map and stand in the capsule to be taken back to Lunaria.

Energy Orbs for Trilluna & Energy Flowers for Trilluna (repeatable daily!): Talk to the hologram of Trilluna on Lunaria. You will see the yellow "!" bubble if you bring her ten Energy Orbs and ten Energy Flowers (two ways to harvest the flower: they are located inside Ancient Lunaria but if you do not want access to that, you can obtain the Galaxy Wand, available at the Petpet Park Mall. Wear it and harvest from the Energy Orb plants at the Gates of Lunaria. If you plan on buying the special access key then you do not need to buy the wand). Keep doing both these jobs every day; repeat them more than ten times for a special reward! (Note: Both jobs were released on August 18, 2011.)

At the Gates of Lunaria, you will notice a "preview" of sorts of the new special access area, Ancient Lunaria. To get in, you will need Park membership or the Ancient Lunaria Access Key (300 NC) from the Petpet Park Mall.

One of the first things you will see is Trilluna, in the flesh!

The Rescue of Trilluna: Talk to her to begin the job. Remember, Agent Drixton can be found on Grenn's Farm and Bronze Ore can be bought at Petpet Emporium. Item reward: Ancient Lunarian Staff.

Now it is time to explore! Gwenivere and Zarsis are the two other inhabitants. As mentioned before, Energy Flowers can be harvested here from the bulbous pink plants.

There is a shop, Starry Lights, that is run by Wolfrist (adorable Space Narwhool!). Here are some of the cool items you can buy:

The wormhole gives an item once a day. You do not need to wear anything specific in order to harvest.

A little ways north is a hovering tree from which you can obtain the Hoverberry as many times as you like. Another tree is tucked away beside the arboretum.

There are a couple of bonus animations on the map. I will not spoil them all but my favourite is the buffer/polisher in the space dock that is activated by hovering over a panel (or its thin metal arm) with your mouse. It is so random!

Wax on, wax off.
Starry Gaze: Switching gears, head to Autropolis for a job from Eldridge. In order to receive Star Particles, you need to wear the Mining Pick (buyable from Petpet Emporium), go to Lunaria, and mine from the leftmost rock formation. Item reward: Autropolis Galaxy Wallpaper.

Crafting Lab

A new hidden craft is available, meaning the recipe is not shown but you will get the yellow "!" bubble if you have all the necessary ingredients. Have one Red Ball of Yarn (found in Petpet Emporium), two Star Wandberries (found in Mystimar Glen), and two Lunarian Lilies (found on Lunaria) in your backpack. Take them to the Crafting Lab inside Trilluna's Spaceship and mix them to create Ancient Lunarian Dress.

The Emerald Star in a Bottle has been released. Take it to Agent Linski inside the barn on Grenn's Farm and be rewarded with Shooting Stars Carpet and Emerald Star Sticker.

Unreleased Findings

Looking in from the Gates of Lunaria, you can see petpets milling around inside Ancient Lunaria. These are not petpets owned by users, they are automatons running on a loop. Are they offering a glimpse into the future? The Drym appears to be sporting an unreleased colour and haircut; the Kassegat is wearing some never-before-seen items (I want that spaceship!); the Bandalu has a necklace that seems new, too.

JN Birthday Wishing Well Gathering - Recap

This was the second Wishing Well Gathering to be hosted by Jellyneo and it set a new record! For 2.5 hours, we threw coins, chatted, ~~stomped on bucket hats~~, and partied. The JN staff members that were there included Aurora, Dream, Herdy, Illy, Nick, Skylar, Uuliani, and Zador.

Thank you to everyone who attended and thank you for the wonderful comments! Hopefully you all amassed lots of Park Points by the time it was over. If you used coins, hopefully you got some fabulous wearables as well.

It is no secret that the Park Team likes to insert pop culture references here and there. Recently, these have revolved around a certain Oncoming Storm. ;) In a previous job (either Return to Lunaria or A Lunarian Visit, depending on what you did last year), you were asked to fetch the Sonic Wrench; this week, Wormhole Theory offered Timey Wimey Ball; and is it just me or does Rover seem like the counterpart to K-9? Good times for Doctor Who fans!

Brief Wishing Well Overview

Anyone can visit the Wishing Well at The University. You can do one of two things while there: toss in a special Wish Coin or stand on a grey paw print tile.

As mentioned before, Wish Coins cost real money to buy; you stand on the big gold paw print tile to throw them into the Well. You will receive some Park Points and an item prize.

Every time a coin is thrown in, those who stand on the grey tiles will receive Park Points, too. Thus, the purpose of gatherings is to get a bunch of petpets to participate, because then everyone benefits by receiving more Park Points.

Weekend Game Competition

Because of glitches, the high score competition for Gem Lab has been extended. You have until the end of August to become one of the top three scorers in order to win a medal!

New Badges and Collections

New badges "Draphly Crewmember" and "Time Hero" are out, although their requirements are unknown at this point. There are also badges for harvesting 10 to 1,000 Energy Orbs, but these are also currently unobtainable.

New collections include "Unidentified Glowing Objects" and "Stuck on Stickers."
Glowing Peppermelon, Glowing Popcorn, and Glowing Appleberry are harvestable from bushes on Grenn's Farm (do not forget to wear your Magnifying Glass if you are after the popcorn). Glowing Chokato is given out randomly from the Giant Chokato; Lunarian Cocoa is explained further down. Many stickers are unreleased but the ones that are available can be obtained through NC-related activities (see rest of this post).

Around The Park

All special access areas now have a glowing, floating padlock at the entrance. If you have the special access key (or membership), it does not mean you have been locked out; they are merely there to indicate unlockable areas. Step onto the mat and it will still let you in. Now, let us talk about the main event!

Telescopes? Crop circles? What is going on?!

The truth is out there...
Talk to Winsela, who will point you to Lunaria, Petpet Park's moon. You can hop into one of the many capsules around the Park to get there faster.

Meet up with Trilluna for a job that gives Telescope Keychain.

To enter her spaceship, you will need to buy the Trilluna Spaceship Access Key from the NC Mall (300NC) or have Petpet Park Membership. Inside, there are new jobs, a game (Gem Lab), a crafting lab, harvestables, and a shop.

...And did I mention there is the absolutely adorable Moonrover-2871? The first job for him, Meet Rover, awards the Space Princess Haircut Ticket.

Bring three Moonfish (obtainable on Lunaria when you are wearing an Angler Fishing Rod) and a Crafting Stick (from Petpet Emporium) to the crafting lab in order to create a Space Sword.

I see she is still fond of Commander Vixor...
The contraption next to the Paradox Machine (officially called a "prize dispenser" but I think Tube o' Stuff sounds cooler) is harvestable once a day. From it, you can obtain stickers, toys, posters, and wearables.

At Trilluna's Closet, you will be able to buy the Time-Space Glove. Wearing that, you will then be able to harvest multiple times a day from the worm hole on Lunaria.

Meanwhile, on ground, a new cocoa recipe has been revealed! Head over to Cocoa Cafe on Blizzard Mountain. At the fountain, throw in three Moonfish and a Cup of Cocoa you get from Coco to make Lunarian Cocoa!

Not to be outdone, Eldridge in Autropolis has a new job for you. Its reward is the awesome looking Autropolis Spaceship (wearable!).

The University appears to be under construction! With September just around the corner, could our petpets be going to school? Hmmm.

It was confirmed that Sapphire Starfish (which is needed to complete the Seashell and Treasure Trove collections) has not been harvestable from the chest at Puka Beach Club for a while now. However, it will return soon. In addition, it was said that we would be getting new levels! (Right now, the maximum level your petpet can reach is 20.)

Upcoming Area

"Ancient Lunaria" has accidentally been added to the big map. It is currently unreleased but will be another special access area requiring an NC key or membership.

A new survey is available on the Petpet Park website. Click on the speech bubble above the Kassegat. The bubble should say "Petpet Park survey! click here". Membership is one of the many things asked about in the survey.

Carnival Royalty Announced, New Membership Perks, Job Changes, and More!

Who won?

Head on over to the Laughing Springs, and talk to Professor Gillbert - the voting for Carnival King and Queen has ended, and the winners are Kraygen and Bubbles (final tally of votes: Kraygen - 54427, Bubbles - 51212, Burskun - 43556, Kelpernia - 42761). However, the Carnival Crown has been hidden by the professor, so a search for it has now begun.

The jewelry box in Fashion Field is still giving away a free tiara to those who have yet not claimed it :)

Over 150 free Park items were retired on July 18, 2011, to coincide with a new Membership update. New Membership versions of the original (now retired) items were added, and are only purchasable and usable while a paid Membership is active for the Park account in question. A select few free items remained in their shops in the Park, and 8 of those are new versions of their originals as well.
Do to this change, some collection and job requirements have changed - we will update the content in question as soon as possible. For more information on membership, click here.

In addition to the membership items, over 50 job rewards were either retired and replaced or switched to be given from other jobs. Some job payouts have also been changed, and level requirements have been added. Payout changes went both ways (some jobs now give less parkles, some give more park points, etc), but mall jobs in general have DOUBLED their payouts.
A Necklace for Gramma Part 2 now gives out an item reward! Kirko is offering a reward for 10 of these Ruby Charms.
Relevant job guides will be updated as soon as possible!

Swirling Seas Discovered, Free Chest Items Available And Carnival Voting Continues!

The strange underwater chest that in the past contained SpongeBob Squarepants-themed items has returned to Park Pointe Square! Open up the chest to get a special Frozen SpongeBob Seashell, which you can throw in the Wishing Well to get a wearable SpongeBob Balloon.

A new Special Access Area has been discovered underwater! Visit Swirling Seas, the city of the deep, and meet its queen, Ithoniel, who would like to give you a special gift for being one of the first surface-dwelling visitors to the city. Underwater you will also find a trio of mermaids (called Amura, Ariana, and Ayla), a new shop ran by Fizlin, a clam to craft with, a Sling and Splash game (triple points!), a harvestable seashell AND a sunken ship's once-a-day harvestable treasure chest! Access to the area requires membership or the Swirling Seas Access Key!

Blitz has returned to Blizzard Mountain! Go visit him every day from July 1 to July 4 to get special rewards! The first item is the Icy Wonder Gem, which will complete the Snowy Treasures collection. The second item is a Professor Gillbert Ice Pop, the third is a re-released Ice Chopsticks, and the last item is a re-released Homemade News Years Sparkler.

The chance to get Winsela's special bracelet themed after the Winx Club has passed. Hopefully you got yours before June 30 :)

The Summer Party preparations are underway!

The Aquatic Carnival Summer Party is coming! Professor Gillbert needs help with the party preparations at the Laughing Springs! Visit him now and deliver materials at least once each week for a fantastic Home & Gardens reward! The professor will also reward you with special items if certain materials are delivered on 5 separate days including the current ones he's in need of - Lava Flower Buds!
Note: The first material delivery job for driftwood has already retired.

Winsela in the Park Pointe Square is giving away a special item from June 16 to June 30! Visit her to get your free bracelet themed after the Winx Club.

The Park went through maintenance on June 10, which brought with it performance improvements - you may notice the Park being faster when harvesting, doing garden things, visiting areas, buying items and much more!

Another Game Champion Challenge was held for the weekend of June 3-5, 2011. Neeterball is still giving out double points until the end of the month. Try going for the required score of 3000 while you're at it to get the "Neetertastic" badge!
