To start this job, go talk to Commander Vixor at The Vernax Horizon.
To get to The Horizon, go to your wardrobe and wear either the wearable Supersonic Pulsar Transmitter or the Electromagnetic Transmitter, then you can get access to Area 27 by standing on the glowing paw-shaped crop circle near Grenn's Barn at Grenn's Farm. This will teleport you to Area 27. Once there, walk to the paw mat ahead of you to enter the spaceship.

The governing council banished me from the planet, and he was the one who oversaw my departure. He wouldn't even look at me. Just stared straight ahead until my ship took off.

The materials you collect this time will be different, however, you need one of each of the following: Moon Crystals, Star Crystals, Asteroid Crystals, Meteoroid Crystals, and Comet Shards.

After you have mined each rock formation, head back to the Commander in The Vernax Horizon.

It harvested some more materials.

I see you are now getting Asteroid Crystals and Meteoroid Crystals. We are getting closer. The pick still seems to be yielding Comet Shards though.

Trilluna said it was subpar technology.

She always did think her outrageous ideas were the future.

But never mind that for now. I believe I can hook the pick up to the ship's computer to tweak the signal a bit more. Just give me a moment.

Yes, she would see it like that. And honestly, I can't blame her. But I had to do my duty.

Tell me the whole story.

Trilluna and I were both promising young pilots at the Space Academy. She was a good friend, but she had an overeager, ambitious nature. She always pushed the limits of her spaceship, always searching for ways to go faster. She began to research the use of wormhole technology in space travel. I warned her several times that it was dangerous, but she refused to listen.

What happened?

One day, during one of her experiments, she accidentally created a wormhole that pulled half the academy into an alternate universe. All the students were safely retrieved, but the governing council deemed her too dangerous and banished her from the planet. I was ordered to oversee her departure.

What else could I do? She had disobeyed the law, ignored my warnings, and endangered many of our fellow students. I had to do my duty.

Tough situation. I wish you guys could be friends again.

We have both chosen our paths.

I must return to overseeing the ship repairs. Visit me again later, and we shall see if the improved pick works any better.
