To start this job, go talk to Commander Vixor at The Vernax Horizon.
To get to The Horizon, go to your wardrobe and wear either the wearable Supersonic Pulsar Transmitter or the Electromagnetic Transmitter, then you can get access to Area 27 by standing on the glowing paw-shaped crop circle near Grenn's Barn at Grenn's Farm. This will teleport you to Area 27. Once there, walk to the paw mat ahead of you to enter the spaceship.

The Story of Trilluna Part 2
Let's see what this Sonic Mining Pick can do!
Should I mine at the pillars again?
I'm going to talk to Trilluna again, too.
Why, what did you do to her?
I will say no more for now. Good luck harvesting materials on the moon.
Okay...see you later.
Go to your wardrobe and wear the wearable Matter Transference Beam or the Materialisation Beam. Use the teleporters in The Vernax Horizon to travel to Lunaria.

Matter Transference Beam or Materialisation Beam

Once you arrive on Lunaria, go talk to Trilluna. She is near her spaceship.
Just stopping by to say hi, Trilluna.
Commander Vixor made some improvements to my pick.
I see you're still helping him out.
Give me one good reason not to.
Really? How?
The governing council banished me from the planet, and he was the one who oversaw my departure. He wouldn't even look at me. Just stared straight ahead until my ship took off.
Why were you banished?
I'm sorry you had to leave your home, Trilluna.
No problem. I'll visit you again soon.
It's time to mine the moon rock formations again. Equip the Sonic Mining Pick to mine the moon rock formations. The materials you collect this time will be different, however, you need one of each of the following: Moon Crystals, Star Crystals, Asteroid Crystals, Meteoroid Crystals, and Comet Shards.
Moon Crystals + Star Crystals + Asteroid Crystals + Meteoroid Crystals + Comet Shards
After you have mined each rock formation, head back to the Commander in The Vernax Horizon.
Let's see what this Sonic Mining Pick can do!
It harvested some more materials.
Trilluna said it was subpar technology.
But never mind that for now. I believe I can hook the pick up to the ship's computer to tweak the signal a bit more. Just give me a moment.
Okay.
Trilluna doesn't think I should help you.
She said you betrayed her.
Tell me the whole story.
What happened?
What else could I do? She had disobeyed the law, ignored my warnings, and endangered many of our fellow students. I had to do my duty.
Tough situation. I wish you guys could be friends again.
I must return to overseeing the ship repairs. Visit me again later, and we shall see if the improved pick works any better.

Okay. See you later, Commander.
Note: After you have finished this job you can start The Supernova Crystal Part 1.
