Nest Building

Hallo! It's egg-collectin' season, but my Cluckens are all gone! Will you help me?

You're always so enthusiastic. But who wouldn't be enthusiastic about building a nest for the Golden Egg?

Some Petpets might not care.
Everyone should be enthusiastic!

The most important quality of a nest is comfort. If a nest is not comfortable, no Clucken will want to sit in it!

I see.

I like to line my nests with soft Velvet Leaves, but they're pretty rare. We'll have to grow our own.
Here are some Velvet Leaf seeds! Grow 'em in your garden, harvest five of 'em, and then bring the leaves back to me.
If you don't feel like growin' your own, you can also check out Pirate's Plunder in Pirate Alley. The pirates have been harvesting them to create ship blankets, but they sell their extra Velvet Leaves in their shop.

Plant several of the Velvet Leaf Seeds and wait for them to grow. (Check out our Garden Guide for more information on how to use your garden.) After 10 minutes, harvest your Velvet Leaves.

Alternatively, go to Pirate Alley and purchase 5 Velvet Leaves from Pirate's Plunder. Then, return to Mellee at Grenn's Farm.
