A Special Clucken Nesting Box - Part 1

Hallo! These Cluckens have been laying a lot of eggs. Would you like to help me count them?

You're an eager one! Well, the Golden Egg is the rarest and most beautiful Clucken egg in the world. It's only laid once a year in the springtime, so I have to search carefully for it every time. Sometimes it's difficult, because I never know which Clucken will end up laying the Golden Egg.

How do you find it?

I have to build special magical Clucken nests and hide them somewhere safe in the Park. The magic of one of the nests eventually attracts the Clucken, who will then lay the Golden Egg in there. I have to hide the nests well enough so that the Clucken feels safe in it, but not too well, or else the Clucken won't be able to find it. The nest that it chooses has to be the perfect size, and the magic has to be just right. It's a tricky process!

I was hopin' you'd say that! I could always use some help. I've already laid out some simple straw nests around the Park for the Cluckens' comfort, but I need some good sturdy boxes to put them in. Normally, that wouldn't be too hard, but you've come at a bad time. The handle of my trust hammer is a bit loose, and I haven't had time to fix it.

Hmm...try checking outside Petpet Emporium. Max leaves his old tools outside in case anyone wants to borrow them.

Head on over to the Petpet Emporium in Market Lane and click on the hammer. Once you retrieve the hammer, return to Tess in Lucky Valley.

You notice a worn but sturdy hammer poking out of one of the boxes.

Take the hammer.

This hammer seems very sturdy and strong.



It sure is heavy!

Now that you have retrieved the Old Hammer; head back over to Tess in Lucky Valley so that she can build you a Nesting Box.

Unfortunately, I can't until I have a working hammer. Were you able to find one?

For starters, no Clucken will be able to lay a Golden Egg if they don't have a proper nest! Was Tess able to build a sturdy nesting box for me?

That's perfect! It looks very solid, and it's the perfect size. Tess is so great at buildin' things! Hold onto the box for now. Eventually, I'll have you help me put the special Clucken nests together, but there are a couple more things we need to do first, so visit me again soon!
