Octoball

Introduction

Octoball is a game run by Burskun in Jiggybug Lagoon. It is a skee-ball type game, similar to bowling, except it is played on an inclined lane and the player aims to get the ball to fall into a hole rather than knock down pins.

How to Play

The object of the game is to collect as many points as possible by rolling balls up an incline and into the designated point value holes. The larger the number on the ring/hole you get the ball into, the higher your score. You start the game with 15 balls and if you land five balls in the lit-up pockets, you win an extra ball and reveal a hidden Bonus Pocket for extra points!

Click on the ball, then pull the mouse back to aim. Watch the power meter on the arrow (which determines your speed), then release the button to throw.

The Different Balls

	Straight Ball - These balls shoot straight.
	Lightning Ball - These balls are very light. Don't throw them too hard!
	Cannon Ball - These balls weigh as much as a whale! It takes a lot of power to throw them.
	Slider Ball - These tricky balls reverse their direction once they clear the ramp!
	Curve Ball - These balls curve to the side. Be careful not to hit the walls!
	Wild Ball - This ball always targets the Bonus hole.
	Combo Ball - These challenging balls share the properties of a Curve Ball and a Slider Ball.

Hints and Tips

Shoot quickly to get an added bonus!

If the 10-point pocket is lit, just shoot your ball at the highest power possible as fast as possible. You'll get both a lit pocket star, and a good speed bonus to make up for the low pocket points!

If you do well enough to score 2000 or more points, you'll be awarded the Octomaster badge!
