Cake Calamity

Introduction

Cake Calamity is run by the ever so cheerful Cochon, who resides over in Market Lane. Cochon, with his brilliant French accent, absolutely loves baking! So who better than him to run Cake Calamity? Do you also enjoy baking? Then this could be the game for you!

How to Play

Time to get baking! Just follow the recipe and complete each task to earn points! Each recipe has different tasks to perform, complete them all and move on to the next recipe. Just follow the instructions and you'll be a baking success!

1. Gathering Ingredients

An ingredient list will appear for each recipe. Find the ingredients on the list and click on them to gather them up. If you pick up an incorrect ingredient, just click on it again to put it back.

2. Measuring Ingredients

To pour each ingredient, hold the mouse button down over the measuring cup and then drag the mouse downward. Release the mouse button to stop pouring.

3. Mixing Ingredients

It's now time to mix the ingredients. As the star moves along the meter at the top of the screen, mix the ingredients already in the bowl by holding your mouse button over the mixer handle and turning it. Make sure to click the Add button at the right time to put the next ingredient in the bowl.

4. Cutting Out Cookies

Cut out the correct number of cookie shapes by moving the mouse over the dough and clicking.

5. Pouring the Batter

Hold the mouse button down over the spot where you want to pour the batter and then drag the mouse downward. Release the mouse button to stop pouring.

6. Frosting

To frost muffins, cakes, and cupcakes, hold the mouse button down and drag along the path pictured on the baked good. Remember to stay in the lines!

7. Display

It's time to get your baked goods ready to sell! Click on the baked goods and place them on the plate as accurately as possible. Try to match the display that's shown. When you're finished, click on the Okay button.

Level #4 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar, Zeenana, Caramelized Peaches, Butter, Yellow Neggs, Baking powder, Maraquan Sea salt, Rainbow frosting.

Level #5 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar, Kau Kau Farm milk, Starberry, Baking powder, Blunkabean, Maraquan Sea salt, Butter, Yellow Neggs, Rainbow frosting.

Level #6 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar, Chocolate chips, Juppie powder, Butter, Baking powder, Blunkabean, Maraquan Sea salt, Yellow Neggs.

Level #7 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar, Chocolate chips, Juppie powder, Kau Kau Farm milk, Baking powder, Butter, Yellow Neggs, Rainbow frosting.

Level #8 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar, Kau Kau Farm milk, Snowberry, Baking Powder, Maraquan Sea salt, Yellow neggs, Rainbow frosting, Sprinkles.

Level #9 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar; Kau Kau Farm milk, Baking Powder, Blunkabean, Butter, Yellow neggs, Icing Sugar, Rainbow frosting.

Level #10 Recipe:

Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Ginger, Cloves, Nutmeg, Maraquan Sea salt, Butter, Yellow Neggs.

Hints and Tips

One thing we noticed right away is that the Ingredients never move around on each shelf; they are always in the same spot. So it would be a good idea to first memorize, or at least have a good idea where each of them are on the shelves. This way, as you move up levels and are given more challenging Recipes, you'll know exactly where to go to click on each Ingredient that the new Recipe calls for. The faster you find all the ingredients, the more points you get.

Mixing ingredients and pouring the batter are not timed, so take your time and perform these tasks the best you can. You can start pouring and stop when you almost finish, then pour small amounts of the ingredient until you fill the recipient, this way it is easier to get 100% accuracy.

During the cutting out cookies task, make sure to get the right amount of cookies, if you cut an extra one it's game over. Also don't overlap the cookies.
