In August 2010, a malfunctioning spaceship (The Vernax Horizon) crash-landed in the woods outside of Grenn's Farm. This commotion set forth a series of events that were quite literally out of this world! In the end, did you choose to help a convoy finish its mission or help a banished pilot stay hidden?

The Investigation

The two Agent's below work as a team to investigate Alien type things. They immediately began investigating the mysterious crash...

• Agent Drixton: Tends to be more hotheaded than his partner when conducting investigations.
• Agent Linski: Much more scientifically minded than her partner.

New Areas

Area 27

Along with this mysterious spaceship crash, came an interesting portal which took your pet to the new Area 27. Below is a list of new characters who were involved in the crash:

• Rorzo: The Second Lieutenant of the Vernax Horizon.
• Zarza: The First Lieutenant of the Vernax Horizon.

• Commander Vixor: The Commander of the Vernax Horizon.

Lunaria

• Trilluna: Lives on the moon, Lunaria.

Early Access

Both Area 27 and Lunaria could be accessed early if you purchased the early access items from the NC Mall. For Area 27, you needed to purchase the Supersonic Pulsar Transmitter. For Lunaria, you needed to purchase the Matter Transference Beam. Area 27 and The Vernax Horizon were both removed after this event ended.

Exploring

Mining

To mine in Area 27, you either needed to complete the job The Lunarian Mining Pick or buy the Lunarian Mining Pick from the NC Mall. Check out our Activities Page for more information.

Fishing

The first thing you need to do is head over to the Petpet Emporium and buy yourself an Angler Fishing Rod for 100 Park Points. Once you have it, go to your Wardrobe and equip it to your Petpet. Now that you have something to fish with, you can try your luck at catching the Moonfish (which was released during this event) in Area 27!

In order to catch the Lunarian Fish (which was released during this event), you need to buy the Alien Fishing Rod from the NC Mall.

Clyde seemed to have been subjected to some kind of alien technology to produce these! In order to obtain one of these pieces, you have to harvest Clyde the Chokato on Grenn's Farm.

Badges

As you progressed further in the Alien Mission plot, more badges could be unlocked. The following are also in the order in which they could be received:

Extraterrestrial Agent [RETIRED]	By entering The Vernax Horizon spaceship at Area 27 this badge became unlocked. To have had access to Area 27, you needed to complete the 'Aliens!' jobs.
Lunarian Explorer [RETIRED]	Unlocked by discovering the moon, Lunaria, with help from Commander Vixor during the Alien Mission.
Seeker of the Supernova Crystal [RETIRED]	Successfully retrieve the Supernova Crystal from Lunaria after activating the five lunar pillars and entering the forcefield. The badge is earned after completing 'The Supernova Crystal Part 5'

Lunarian Harvester	The Lunarian items that form this collection can be obtained by mining the different moon rock formations around the Park.
Out of This World Rewards [RETIRED]	The items in this collection are special gifts from Commander Vixors' home planet that you received after completing his jobs. The following are the jobs that rewarded items for this collection: The Vernax Horizon Part 1, The Vernax Horizon Part 2, The Vernax Horizon Part 4, The Vernax Horizon Part 6, , The Story of Trilluna Part 1 and The Story of Trilluna Part 2.

Jobs

While the Vernax Horizon was grounded in Area 27, there were a lot of things that needed to be done for the various new characters! From such things as building a Sonic Wrench to obtaining the most powerful object in the universe.

NC Mall Jobs

If the free jobs were not enough to satisfy your needs to help our guests out, then various NC Mall jobs were available. Not only did these jobs give you exclusive items, but some even allowed for early access to Area 27 and Lunaria.

Whether you chose to help Commander Vixor get back to his convoy in time or keep Trilluna safe with the forcefield around the moon, Lunaria is open for all to explore. Agent Linski can still be found in Grenn's Barn continuing her research on Lunaria and its vanished population. Put on your helmet and strap on those moon boots - the moon is waiting for you to explore!
