Getting the Items
Jiggybug Lagoon (NC needed)
To collect shells from the Purple Shell at Jiggybug Lagoon, you need to first buy a Magical Island Glove from the Island Treasures shop at the Special Access Zone, Puka Beach Club) for 1200 PP. Once you equip it from your closet, stand next to the shell and click. You will randomly receive one of the following items, so keep clicking until you get them all!

Pukapooka Beach (NC needed)
Collecting items from the Green Shell at Pukapooka Beach is the same as for the Purple Shell: you need to wear a Magical Island Glove to be able to collect shells:

Puka Beach Club (Special Access Zone) (NC needed)
To enter this premium area, you need to first buy an access key from the NC Mall or have an active Petpet Park Membership. All the items from the Yellow Shell can be collected without using the Magical Island Glove, just stand next to the shell and click. Some shells are rarer than others.

The Sapphire Starfish is randomly obtained from the Treasure Chest at the Puka Beach Club. You can collect treasures from the chest once a day.

Fantastic Fair (Special Access Zone) (NC needed)
To enter this premium area, you need to first buy an access key from the NC Mall. The Aquatic Swirl Shell is randomly obtained from the giant crab claws at the Fantastic Fair. You can harvest from these claws once a day.

Laughing Springs (NC needed)
To collect shells from the Orange Shell at the Laughing Springs, you need to first buy a Laughing Springs Floatie from the NC Mall for 200 NC. Once you equip it from your closet, stand next to the shell and click. You will randomly receive one of the following items, but you can only harvest from this shell once a day.

Swirling Seas (Special Access Zone) (NC needed)
To enter this premium area, you need to first buy an access key from the NC Mall or have an active Petpet Park Membership. The shells are randomly obtained from the Fuchsia Shell in Swirling Seas. You can harvest from the shell as many times as you want.
